SUMMARY

Gozney is looking for an Art Director to lead the graphic design department within our dedicated in‑house creative studio. This is a senior role for someone who can set the visual standard, build scalable systems, and get hands‑on in the work when it matters.

You will own the day‑to‑day design quality and brand expression across launches, campaigns, and always‑on creative – spanning all channels from paid & organic social, web, CRM, channel marketing, packaging and toolkits that help teams execute without drift. You’ll bring clarity to complex rollouts, building templates, component libraries, and guidelines that make the brand easier to deliver at pace, without compromising detail.

You will partner closely with creative leadership, Content, Social, E‑comm/CRM, Channel Marketing and Product teams, plus a network of external agencies to ensure Gozney shows up with a coherent, premium visual language across every touchpoint. This role sits at the intersection of brand, design systems, and production reality and will play a critical role in shaping Gozney’s next era.


RESPONSIBILITIES

* Set and maintain the design craft bar across all brand touchpoints
* Establish clear design principles and guardrails so Gozney looks consistent at speed, globally.
* Lead critique and reviews; give direct, actionable feedback that improves work and reduces rework.
* Stay connected to design and culture; bring relevant references, ideas, and techniques that raise the bar.
* Lead design across major launches and campaigns, taking work from concept through rollout across channels.
* Build campaign toolkits that translate a big idea into a coherent system across paid, social, web/PDP, CRM, and retail.
* Partner with creative leadership to evolve Gozney’s visual direction and ensure every release feels intentional and premium.


BRAND SYSTEMS & SCALABLE TOOLKITS

* Create and maintain templates, component libraries, and production‑ready systems that make the brand easier to execute.
* Own brand consistency across teams and regions; ensure files, formats, and handoffs are clean and repeatable.
* Improve design operations: briefing inputs, version control, naming conventions, and delivery standards.


ART DIRECTION FOR CONTENT

* Collaborate with the Content team to ensure design supports templates, titles, and packaging
* Provide art direction inputs for shoots when design is a key ingredient – references, on‑set needs, and post considerations.
* Ensure motion‑ready design frames and toolkits are clear, flexible, and on‑brand.


CROSS‑FUNCTIONAL PARTNERSHIP

* Work closely with Social, E‑comm/CRM, Channel Marketing, and Product teams to align creative intent with channel needs.
* Translate stakeholder goals into clear direction, balancing ambition with production reality and timelines.
* Manage and brief external agencies where needed, protecting craft and consistency.
* Implement creative solutions to allow design to produce assets for critical channel (paid media) at scale.
* Lead, mentor, and develop designers – setting expectations, growing capability, and creating clear paths for progression.
* Help recruit and scale the Design Department and freelance bench as studio needs grow.
* Foster a high‑standard, low‑ego culture: ambitious work, clear ownership, and strong collaboration.


WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

* 7–10+ years experience in brand design, with clear senior ownership and/or art direction responsibility
* A standout portfolio demonstrating premium craft and strong taste across multi‑channel brand work
