Role Overview

As our Commercial Manager, you'll source opportunities that provide the best customer and company commercial outcomes that support the retention and growth of our customers through new existing product lines/distribution channels.

Job details - you'll need to have demonstrable experience in:


* Setting, leading and executing the commercial growth strategy within the business area, with a focus of driving the best customer and commercial outcomes
* Building networks both internally and externally, providing market intelligence of competitor activity, insurance sector analysis and commercial opportunities
* Identifying new or enhanced trading performance opportunities, engaging and working collaboratively across the team and business areas to progress any of these opportunities
* Developing business cases, sourcing data and insights that are in support of strategic objectives and presenting this to the senior leadership team, executive and on occasion, Sampo Group
* Leading cross functional teams to deliver great commercial outcomes
* Embracing and upholding our 4Cs culture and values, with a desire to integrate this into their way of working

Essential Skills/experience

* Have proven experience in developing commercial opportunities that support the increase in business revenue, customers and/or product lines, saving money/cost initiatives all in line with business strategy
* Experience in working in a highly commercial, target driven environment (and understand how this works in a regulated environment)
* Skilled in building, influencing and leading direct and indirect teams, fostering a collaborative, positive and inclusive work environment

* Recruiter screening call
* 1st stage interview with hiring leader
* 2nd interview with hiring leaders and peer (involving case study)
