Job description- Vehicle Mechanic
OC Motor Repairs Ltd is an accident repair centre that is part of the One Call Group of companies. It has been established for over 10 years, and is a group of insurance approved vehicle repair centres, working to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained. We specialise in car body repairs and accident crash repairs.
We are currently looking to recruit a Vehicle and Car Mechanic to join our team and deliver the best customer service to our clients.
Work Hours: 50 hours per week between the hours of 7am- 5.30pm
Place of Work: 20-22 Bennett Road, Reading, RG2 0QX
Salary: £16 - £20 ph + bonus
The ideal Candidate will have:
Relevant automotive NVQ Level 2 or 3 of City & Guilds qualification
Full UK Driving License
Ability to work as part of a team and using your own initiative
Excellent communication skills
Maintaining a high standard whilst working under pressure
Completing each task within the time frame given
Duties Include
Ability to service all aspects of mechanical components of cars and small trucks
Identifying the extent of damage
Accessing and removing damaged components
Installing new components
Using welding and soldering equipment
Ensuring the vehicle is in working order
