Senior Engineer - Aviation role at Arup. The Midlands Transport Roads Civils and Aviation team is expanding in the Nottingham or Birmingham offices.
Responsibilities
* Work on airfield infrastructure design, including production of specifications, drawings and reports.
* Site supervision and supervision of junior team members.
* Involved in business development, bid support, project management, design liaison, and team management.
* Design elements typically include airfield geometry; airfield planning and compliance; pavements; drainage; markings; utilities; airfield lighting.
Qualifications
* Incorporated or Chartered civil engineer with UK design experience and proven client-facing abilities.
* Experience in airfield design standards (e.g., EASA, ICAO, CAP168) and working on live airfields.
* Experience in project management and the ability to lead a multi-project environment.
* Noted as advantageous: full clean UK driver’s license.
