Join a leading independent technology and services provider as a Technician 3Job Overview: This role supports the setup and execution of IT device migrations, including establishing Refresh Clinics, managing device handovers, and maintaining accurate records throughout the process. The engineer will work under the guidance of the Contractor Engineer and Site Manager to ensure smooth transitions, resolve issues, and uphold project standards.
1. Location: Wimbish - Saffron Walden (Onsite)
2. Daily Rate: on PAYE or on UMB
3. Contract Length: 1 Month
4. Start Date: 16-Feb-26
5. End Date: 10-Mar-26
Key Responsibilities:
6. Early Life Support
7. Migration Set-up
8. Set-up Refresh Clinic
9. Move the required quantity of devices as instructed by the Contractor Engineer and Site Manager from the onsite storage location to the Refresh Clinic location.
10. Login to any system as required via device(s) provided by the contractor’s engineer and Site Manager and under their instructions.
11. Refresh Laptops
12. Correctly update the Contractor’s workflow management system at all relevant steps
13. Seek guidance as required from the Post-Migration Technical Support Specialist and Site Manager.
14. Assist in conducting manual stock checks daily and report findings to the Contractor Engineer and Site Manager.
15. Assist in securing the devices in the onsite storage location at the end of each day.
