Senior Infrastructure and Cloud Engineer for Security - 12 months
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Infrastructure and Cloud Engineer to work for a large cyber security team providing technical input to security improvement and remediation. Activities will cover a range of subjects and technologies on initiatives focused on achieving security accreditation including a health check, Cyber Essentials and Cyber Assessment Framework and Zero Trust.
Skills Required
1. Analytical and troubleshooting skills are essential, including problem solving from first principles
2. Significant engineering/administration experience on digital systems on an enterprise scale
3. In depth understanding of and experience with enterprise scale networking and system management
4. Demonstrable recent record of directly implementing service or security improvements
5. Ability to self-start and see through change start to finish
6. Ability to share knowledge and experience with colleagues and effectively hand over to BAU
7. Experience contributing towards cyber security certification projects
Desirable Skills
8. Experience supporting penetration test remediation and vulnerability management.
9. Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture and implementation.
10. Knowledge of incident detection and response processes.
11. Experience integrating risk and security data into reporting or automation tools.
Desirable Qualifications
12. Microsoft - on-premise and cloud related engineering level certifications
13. MCSE Certified or equivalent experience
14. ITIL certification
