As a result, they are investing in senior, client-facing leadership to ensure continuity for customers while scaling the business in a structured, professional way.
About Your New Job
As the Account Director, you will:
* Take ownership of a portfolio of key clients, ensuring long-term satisfaction, retention, and growth.
* Develop and execute comprehensive account plans aligned with client roadmaps and commercial objectives.
* Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts through consultative engagement.
* Proactively develop and pursue new business leads within target sectors, shaping compelling proposals.
* Lead strategic bid responses and presentations, supporting the development of proposals and commercial agreements.
What Skills You Need
* 7+ years’ experience in account management, business development, or solution selling within the IT services or managed services sector.
* Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders and translate complex technical offerings into commercial outcomes.
* Strong understanding of the sales lifecycle, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
* Proficiency in CRM and pipeline management tools (e.g., Autotask, Salesforce, HubSpot).
