Duty Officer (Wet) at South Lanarkshire Council.
Location
Carluke Leisure Centre, Carnwath Road, Carluke.
Hours & Shift Pattern
37 hours per week, 3‑week rota: Week 1: Monday/Tuesday 2 pm–10:30 pm, Wednesday 10:30 am–3 pm, Saturday 8 am–5:30 pm, Sunday 8 am–7:30 pm.
Week 2: Wednesday 5:45 am–2:45 pm, Thursday/Friday 5:45 am–2 pm.
Week 3: Monday/Tuesday 5:45 am–2 pm, Wednesday 1 pm–10:30 pm, Thursday/Friday 2 pm–10:30 pm.
Salary
£34,185 – £35,130 per annum.
Duration
Fixed term until 31 July 2027.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Recreation Officer to manage the day‑to‑day operation of the facility and implement SLLC's Leisure Strategy and Business Plan.
* Ensure staff are effectively managed, developed and reviewed to deliver the operation of the facility.
* Maintain the quality and consistency of services provided to customers.
* Oversee staff scheduling and rostering.
Qualifications
* Current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.
* Pool Plant Operator Qualification.
* First Aid at Work Certificate.
* PLG trainer assessor and Iosh Health & Safety qualifications desirable.
