Office Assistant
Location: Swadlincote
Salary: Up to £26,500 per year (depending on experience)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (Monday – Friday, with occasional Saturdays on a rota basis)

We are a highly reputable and well-established family-run business based in Swadlincote, and we’re looking for a professional and enthusiastic Office Assistant to join our team. The Role

As an Office Assistant, you’ll be the first point of contact for our business, ensuring all visitors are greeted in a professional and welcoming manner. This role is ideal for someone with previous experience as a Receptionist or in an office support role, who enjoys being at the heart of a busy, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Greeting and assisting all visitors in a professional and friendly way

* Providing general administrative support across the business

* Arranging and managing appointments, including diary management

* Liaising with management and keeping them updated on any changes to customer appointments

* Supporting colleagues and ensuring office processes run smoothly

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

* Well-presented, professional, and confident when dealing with people

* An excellent communicator, both face-to-face and over the phone

* Organised, proactive, and able to manage a variety of tasks

* Experienced as an Office Assistant, administrator, or Receptionist
