An exciting opportunity has arisen in one of our children’s homes for Residential Team Leaders!
We are looking for caring and compassionate Team Leaders who wish to make a positive difference in the lives of children and young people by leading support workers through example.
We offer a basic salary of £12.94 per hour plus £30 per sleep-in, with paid annual leave. The role involves working on a rota basis, with a monthly rota provided 4 weeks in advance. The typical week is 40 hours across 2-3 shifts, promoting a good work/life balance. The shifts include long hours and sleep-ins, essential for the role, with hours varying depending on the home location.
Job role
* Meeting the needs of the children and young people in line with Ofsted regulations
* Planning team rotas and supporting the Deputy and Home Manager in meetings and appointments
* Assisting the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager in implementing the Statement of Purpose
* Carrying out tasks as directed by the management team
* Supervising in the absence of the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager
* Welcoming a diverse culture within the home
* Creating a safe, family-like environment for the children
Requirements
* You must be 21 or older due to Ofsted regulations
* Driving is preferred but not essential
