We are looking for motivated and hands-on Manufacturing Technician to join a team based in Leeds. This Manufacturing Technician role is ideal for someone at an early stage of their career who is keen to gain practical experience in a manufacturing and R&D environment, or who can bring experience from a similar setting. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will support production activities, assist with equipment preparation, and help maintain organised and safe workspaces. This is role is initially a temporary contract, with the potential to become permanent dependent on performance!
Roles & Responsibilities of Manufacturing Technician:
* Assisting with the assembly of robotic systems and related equipment
* Preparing materials and cutting conductors for testing and product samples
* Cleaning and maintaining manufacturing machinery and tools
* Organising, labelling, and storing parts and materials
* Supporting the packing, transport, and setup of equipment for testing and deployment
* Assisting engineers during lab tests and prototype builds
* Keeping basic records of parts usage and equipment checks
* Following health and safety procedures, including PPE requirements
* Taking part in workplace organisation and continuous improvement activities
