Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, forward-thinking pharmacist to lead and develop clinical pharmacy services, with a focus on the acute adult in-patient wards and Crisis Team based at Hammersmith and Fulham Mental Health Unit and in the Claybrook Centre. The successful pharmacist will work closely with the Lead Pharmacist Local Services Tri-Borough and pharmacy colleagues on other Trust sites to develop clinical pharmacy services and continuously raise medicines management standards across the Trust.
Responsibilities
* Lead and develop clinical pharmacy services for acute adult in-patient wards and Crisis Teams within Local Services, with a focus on the Hammersmith and Fulham site.
* Collaborate with the Lead Pharmacist Local Services Tri-Borough and pharmacy colleagues across Trust sites to raise medicines management standards.
* Contribute to the clinical governance agenda, including development and co-ordination of audits and Quality Improvement Projects.
* Provide training and development on medicines management in mental health to junior and trainee staff, including trainee pharmacists, pre-registration pharmacy technicians and visiting trainee pharmacists.
* Act as a practice supervisor, educational supervisor and/or designated supervisor to trainee staff as necessary.
* Work in collaboration with the West London NHS Trust pharmacy team to provide pharmacy services across the Trust and cover colleagues' leave when required.

* Enthusiastic, forward-thinking pharmacist with good communication skills and a keen interest in mental health.
* Ability to work effectively both in a team and autonomously.
* Commitment to developing the service and pharmacy colleagues and contributing to clinical governance.
