Overview
As Senior Interaction Designer you will work out the best way to let users interact with services, in terms of both overall flow and at the level of individual design. You will be a confident and competent designer who can develop designs based on evidence of user needs and organisational outcomes. Putting the user at the heart of your design process, you will have the technical knowledge and experience to create, test and iterate prototype digital products (mobile & web). At this role level you will be trusted to make good decisions and contribute to the development of design concepts, interpret evidence-based research, and incorporate this into your work. Take a lead in the User-Centred Design Community of Practice and the development of others in your job family.
Responsibilities
* Approach prototyping as a team activity, actively soliciting prototypes, and testing with others.
* Establish design patterns and iterate them.
* Champion user research to focus on all users and make decisions to meet user needs in the context of NHS Wales.
