About the Role
My client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead growth within the International Marine Geotechnical sector. This is a strategic role focused on expanding market share, driving revenue, and building strong client relationships globally.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
* Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through research, networking, and prospecting.
* Manage and grow existing accounts within the marine geotechnical division.
* Prepare and deliver proposals, bids, and presentations to prospective clients.
* Negotiate contracts and agreements with favorable terms.
* Monitor industry trends and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
* Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
* Provide accurate forecasting and report on sales performance and pipeline activity.
Experience & Skills Required
* Proven leadership experience within the Marine Geotechnical industry.
* Strong technical knowledge of marine geotechnical testing and services.
* Demonstrated success in account management and business development.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Strategic thinker with a proactive, results-oriented approach.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Full UK driving license and ability to travel within the UK and overseas.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
