What you'll be doingWe're looking for a Trainee Wood Machinist to join our fast paced Manufacturing team at our Lincoln House Woodmill manufacturing site on a Permanent basis. A Trainee Wood Machinist is a role to start building a rewarding career and making yourself at DFS.All DFS sofa frames are hand made in our manufacturing sites to ensure quality and will then pass through the factory until the product is complete. Our Trainee Wood Machinists play an integral part in shaping and manipulating the timber into the required pieces to assemble the frame. A high attention to detail is essential as is the passion to leanr how to use machinery. This role will require a high amount of heavy lifting.The role is for you ifThis role really suits people who have good CNC experience and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
