Job Overview
We are a manufacturer of precision components for multiple high-profile sectors. Join our team in Dartford as a CNC Setter/Operator on a permanent basis. This role is responsible for setting up and operating CNC machinery, inspecting components, and ensuring adherence to H&S standards. Salary ranges from £35,000 to £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
Qualifications
* Time served apprenticeship in engineering/manufacturing
* Experience machining and manufacturing precision parts and components
* Experience with Heidenhain or similar controls
* Previous experience working as a CNC operator, machinist, miller, or turner
* Ability to read engineering drawings
* Experience working in a machine shop environment
* Strong ability to work individually and as part of a team
Responsibilities
* Operate 3-Axis CNC machinery and run multiple machines on small to medium batch work
* Inspect components as required
* Use CNC milling or turning with varied controls
* Read and interpret engineering drawings
* Adhere to company H&S requirements
