Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Chef de Partie to join our team.
You will be responsible for collaborating with the teams regarding food production management to ensure minimal wastage, maintenance of food levels, food quality, and brand standards.

To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements: you must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years and have legal right to work in the UK and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
You must have reliable transport due to the location of the site and limited public transport.

A day in the life of a Demi Chef de Partie:
To support the kitchen team in delivering high-quality meals for RNLI crew members, guests, and events. The Demi Chef de Partie will assist in food preparation, maintain kitchen standards, and manage a designated section during service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook breakfast and evening meals to a high standard, following recipes and portion guidelines.
* Assist the Chef de Partie in managing a kitchen section (e.g. grill, garnish, pastry).
* Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are always upheld.
* Monitor stock levels and report shortages or waste.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations and equipment.
* Support the team during functions, conferences, and special events.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth service delivery.
* Contribute to menu development and daily specials when required.
* Uphold RNLI values and represent the organisation professionally.
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery or equivalent.
* Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
* Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or institutional kitchen.
* Strong teamwork and communication skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing demands.
* Passion for quality and consistency.
* Have hands-on experience working in a busy kitchen environment.
* Be confident managing a section during service.
* Show initiative, reliability, and a genuine passion for food.
* Thrive in a team setting and support colleagues with flexibility and enthusiasm.
* Be eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a high-performing kitchen.
You will be set up for success if you have:
* Relevant culinary qualification.
* Previous experience of working in a kitchen.
* Certificate in food safety (or willing to obtain via our online e-learning).
* Excellent team player and communicator.
* DBS and security checks required.
