Overview
To support the busy ward with day to day administration duties. Support nursing staff with day to day queries relating to patients bookings or appointments. To provide a comprehensive administration service and ensure the day to day admissions are actioned in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
* Booking of patients to the ward for the admission
* Telephone calls and queries that may arise
* Queries from the nursing team relating to patients appointments
* Filing/scanning of documentation in case notes
* Book transport for patients
* Any other duties deemed appropriate
* Book all patients to the ward in a timely manner and ensure case notes and any documentation is available for the duration of the in-patient stay
* Book all discharges for follow up review (where required)
* Queries/telephone calls
* Filing/scanning
