Job Title: Fixed Wing Maintenance Manager
Location: Oxford
Hours: Full-time, standard office hours with flexibility for shift/line work
Salary: £65,000£75,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Responsibilities:
Business:
1. Lead and develop maintenance teams, fostering a safety-first, compliant and performance-driven culture.
2. Manage allocation of resources, manpower planning, training and authorisations of certifying staff.
3. Drive accountability for quality, safety and delivery within the maintenance teams.
4. Plan, monitor and control scheduled and unscheduled maintenance inputs to achieve aircraft availability and reliability targets.
5. Ensure all maintenance documentation, records and technical logs are accurately completed and retained.
6. Oversee defect rectification, modification embodiment, and troubleshooting.
7. Manage relationships with contracted MROs, vendors and OEMs.
8. Audit all daily logged hours looking for abnormalities in hours booked verses estimated or planned hours.
9. Ensure strict adherence to the organisations Safety Management System (SMS) and Quality Management System (QMS).
10. Promote continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance operations.
