Congratulations if you are a Nursing Associate or just about to qualify! An exciting opportunity has arisen for registered nursing associates to join our very friendly team on Mary Moore Ward.

Main duties of the job

The main duties of the role will include:

4. Providing optimum quality of care to patients
5. Offering support to the multi-professional team
6. Taking responsibility for an identified area on a regular shift
7. Administer medications in alignment with NMC standards of proficiency and Trust policy and procedure.
8. Playing an integral role in the delivery of Care Benchmarking activities and Trust specific CQUINS targets
9. Participating in audits

Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust provides a range of medical services to approximately 490,000 people living across southwest London and northeast Surrey. In addition, we provide more specialist services, in particular renal and neonatal intensive care, to a wider area, covering parts of Sussex and Hampshire.

Qualifications

Essential criteria

10. Foundation Degree in Nursing.
11. GCSE/Functional skills in English & Maths level 2
12. Trained Nursing Associate
13. Registered with the NMC.

Desirable criteria

14. Knowledge of Clinical Audit and Clinical Governance

15. Understand requirements for NMC professional revalidation
