Your role will include undertaking scrub duties in line with local policies and best practice, maintaining aseptic technique, preparing instruments and equipment, assisting during surgical procedures, and supporting accurate documentation throughout the perioperative pathway. You will contribute to patient positioning, safety checks, and the smooth flow of theatre activity, helping to ensure efficient use of resources and a positive patient experience.
You will work closely with senior colleagues, actively engaging in learning and development opportunities to build your clinical skills and confidence. You will be expected to follow guidance, seek support when required, and contribute positively to a supportive, patient-centred theatre team culture.
