Overview
Join Cornerstone as a Support Practitioner in Longside. You will support five individuals with learning and physical disabilities, providing daily living care, cooking, cleaning, medication, finances and personal care. Enjoy a friendly team culture and creative hobbies such as arts & crafts, walking and social events. The role includes swimming support in the local pool.
Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive support for daily living activities (cooking, cleaning, medication, finances).
* Assist with personal care and hygiene.
* Encourage participation in hobbies and social activities.
* Support swimming sessions as part of routine care.
Qualifications
* Dramatic desire to learn; no prior experience required.
* Full driving licence and own vehicle.
* Good communication, organisational and computer skills.
* Confidence in swimming and basic cooking.
* Positive attitude, willingness to learn and teamwork orientation.
Shift Patterns
Shifts run 0700–2130. Rotational sleepovers, weekends and public holidays occur. Sleepovers are not contract hours; receive £100.80 per sleepover.
