We are now looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to lead all maintenance activities on a newly established night shift. About the role Working as part of a skilled Engineering team, your main responsibilities will be to ensure the continuous running of the production process by eliminating downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault finding and maintenance of equipment. You’ll be involved in a variety of engineering tasks, ensuring a proactive approach to preventing equipment failure. Completing routine welding repairs on machinery. Working on various types of equipment including complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic systems, you’ll be responsible for carrying out a range of planned and reactive engineering activities on site. What are the required skills? Apprentice-trained Engineer to NVQ Level 3 standard in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering ideally with the 18th Edition qualification Good working knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical engineering within a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment Welding experience is key for this role A flexible approach to varying work activities including production requirements Good understanding of current environmental and health and safety issues and knowledge of regulatory requirements A clear passion for engineering with a desire to learn and grow in the role Benefits include: 26 Holidays bank holidays Company Pension up to 15% (5% Employee, 10% Employer) Health care cash plan – support with Dental, Optical, Prescription costs and many more!
