Job Title: General Labourer
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £12.75 per hour
Hours: Mon-Thurs 07:45-16:15 | Fri 07:00-13:00 (Early finish every week!)
We’re looking for a hands-on and reliable General Labourer to join a busy manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, being part of a supportive team, and contributing to high-quality production. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across the shop floor. Full training is provided for the right person!
Responsibilities
* Prepare and secure components for electroplating, following job specifications and quality standards.
* Carefully pack finished products for storage or shipment, ensuring correct labelling and documentation.
* Move materials and goods safely around site (valid FLT licence required).
* Assist with cleaning and maintaining plating tanks and rinses in line with safety and environmental procedures.
* Keep the work area clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety guidelines
* Provide hands-on assistance to production teams as needed, always maintaining a strong safety focus.
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in manufacturing, engineering, or production (preferred but not essential).
* Valid Forklift Truck licence.
* Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
* Awareness of COSHH and general safety practices.
* Positive, reliable, and safety-conscious attitude
