We have recently welcomed new students to our Residential School at Linn Moor Campus. Our staff work alongside children and young adults in care and education to help them achieve personal outcomes. We support children and young people on a 1:1 basis, emphasizing teamwork and maintaining relationships with the wider community.
As a Residential Care and Education Support Worker, your operational base will be on our Linn Moor Campus in Peterculter. This is a full-time or part-time permanent position, offering a competitive salary and benefits.
Rota: You will work on a 4-week rolling rota, including early, late shifts, and alternate weekends (shifts: 7.30am – 3.30pm and 2pm – 10.15pm).
Rate/Salary: £12.81 per hour (unqualified) up to £13.72 per hour (qualified).
Full-Time Starting Salary: £25,978.68 (Unqualified) up to £27,823.35 (qualified following incremental payments).

In this role, you will help provide quality services across both education and care at Linn Moor Campus. An SCQF Level 7 in Social Services and Healthcare (or equivalent) and an HNC in Social Care are beneficial but not essential. You should be willing to work towards these qualifications or the Level 9 Residential Childcare Qualification. Experience working with children and/or young adults with autism or learning difficulties, and effective communication skills, are desirable. Flexibility to work in both care and education settings is required to support physical, psychological, and emotional development.
