Support Worker

Highgate House is a Supported Living service based in Birkenhead providing accommodation & intensive support for adults with mental health needs, dual diagnosis (mental health and learning disabilities), autism and mild learning disabilities.

The service is located next to Birkenhead Park and close to the town centre and has excellent transport links to surrounding areas.

What we’ll give you:

We will ensure you are rewarded for all your hard work, which is why we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes but is not limited to:

1. £12.60 per hour.
2. Full time 40 hours per week.

What you’ll be doing:

9. The role will involve a variety of shifts including 8am-4pm, 10am-6pm, 12pm-8pm and you will also have the ability to work Waking Night shifts from 8pm-8am when required.
10. Minimal personal care involved – (prompting as most individuals are independent with this.)
11. Promoting independence and supporting with daily living skills both within the service and out in the community.
12. Taking part in the chosen activities of the people that live with us.


Who you are:

14. Experience preferred but not essential.
15. NVQ level 2 preferred but not essential as you will have the opportunity to complete this with us.
16. You are flexible and have the ability to cover a variety of shifts.
