The position is highly customer focused, requiring the ability to give sound advice and guidance to all individuals and organisations to resolve questions they have. The three key areas of the role relate to recovery of income, customer service & support and supporting improvement & change.
As Finance Administrator, your main responsibilities will be to receive and respond to everyday enquiries from students, staff and other customers, providing timely, courteous and effective customer service and support and collecting relevant fees. This will includeresponsibilities relating tofee collection, debt recovery and income management of income to the university, primarily student fees but not exclusively, ensuring timely collection of fees owed.
About you
The Student Fees and Income Management team is responsible for the timely collection of student tuition and accommodation fees, as well as departmental income. The team is comprised of friendly and approachable people of various levels and experiences, all of whom deliver a high level of customer service to ensure that both students and staff have a positive experience.
We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic individual who has an excellent work ethos and is keen to use their own initiative and contribute towards the development and continuous improvement within the team. You will utilise excellent communicative skills and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail as you will be interacting with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders over a wide range of tasks. It is important that anyone applying has a reasonable knowledge of the MS Office suite including MS Excel.
