Location/Division Specific Information You will be based in the Warehouse within the Microbiology Division Perth Site. Discover Impactful Work: As a Material Handler I, you will help to deliver distribution and warehouse results in line with the site strategy and specific objectives for the department. These include Safety, Quality, Delivery, Engagement, Attendance, Training, and Development. A day in the Life: - Adhere to safety, quality, appearance, and system standards in your area. Conduct safety checks before working. - Collect UK and export orders. Use SAP to check stock and complete customer orders within the pick and pack operation. - Follow your job role training plan to gain flexibility in all Warehouse and Thermo Fisher roles. - Engage effectively in regular performance and development conversations and act on feedback. - Work in warehouse including up to 60% of time in cold room temperature down to 2 degrees Celsius. - Lift items up to but not limited to 7.5 kilos from ankle and head to hip height. - Walk and stand from 4 hours at a time, up to 12 hours a day, with frequent squatting, stooping, kneeling, bending, and twisting at the waist. - Push or pull products on a picking cart, with a weight of up to 125kg. - Push pallet trucks with a weight up to 500kg. - Work outside when loading trucks. Keys to Success: Education - At least 4 standard Grades (or equivalent), ideally in Mathematics. - Computer Literate. Experience - Experience in a warehouse environment, working in varying temperatures, up to 60% of the time in cold room temperature down to 2 degrees Celsius. - Ability to follow a process accurately. - Reliable and detailed. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities - Counterbalance Forklift Truck License. - A can-do demeanor.
