Job Description

The key responsibilities of the Payroll Administrator include:

* Process payroll accurately and on time for employees across the organisation.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant tax and employment laws.
* Maintain and update payroll records, including deductions, benefits, and adjustments.
* Respond to payroll-related queries from employees and management.
* Collaborate with the accounting and finance department to support reporting and audits.
* Monitor payroll systems and suggest improvements for efficiency.
* Stay informed about changes in payroll legislation and implement necessary updates.
* Assist in the preparation of year-end payroll processes and reports.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Payroll Administrator should have:

* Previous experience in payroll processing, ideally within the retail industry.
* Strong knowledge of payroll systems and relevant legislation.
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
* Proficiency in accounting and finance software.
* The ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
