Lecturer (EF) Rural – Wagga Wagga campus – Part‑time (21 hours per week) fixed‑term contract until 30 June 2027.

* Remuneration: $127,947 base pro‑rata, plus 17% superannuation and leave loading
* Location: Wagga Wagga, NSW
* Work rights: Must hold full rights to work in Australia.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑quality undergraduate medical education focused on Basic Sciences in Clinical Medicine and/or Multidisciplinary Care and Clinical Skills.
* Teach large and small group sessions and laboratory procedures.
* Contribute to curriculum innovation and support student mentoring.
* Engage in locally grounded research initiatives and, where appropriate, supervise Independent Learning Project students.
* Build collaborative relationships across UNSW Rural campuses and local health networks.
* Support student development of clinical competence, teamwork capability, and understanding of rural health contexts.
Qualifications
* PhD in a relevant medical sciences field or health discipline with subsequent relevant work experience.
* Evidence of professional development in pedagogy, disciplinary knowledge, and accreditation requirements.
* Demonstrated teaching effectiveness in biomedical sciences and laboratory procedures, with a strong commitment to rurally focused teaching.
* Experience and technical knowledge in laboratory management, equipment set‑up, maintenance, regulatory compliance and safety management.
* Experience in large and small group teaching.
* Ability to develop and pursue local research initiatives and supervise ILP students where appropriate.
