An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced insurance wordings professional to join a growing Lloyd’s/London market organisation.
As one of the first dedicated hires within the wordings function, you will be based in the CUO office and report directly to the Head of Wordings. This role offers broad exposure across multiple lines of business, including property, D&O, general liability, credit, and treaty. You will play a key role in building strong relationships with underwriting leadership, becoming an integral part of their day-to-day operations.
You will take ownership of wordings for specific underwriting teams, providing expert guidance to both safeguard the business and support underwriters in writing profitable business.
As the function continues to expand, there will be clear opportunities to build and lead a team, with a natural progression towards a Head of Wordings position.
To be successful, you will need prior London market wordings experience, gained across any line of business. A legal background and qualification as a solicitor would be advantageous, although candidates with strong industry experience and technical expertise are equally encouraged to apply.
