An opportunity has arisen within Sunderland City Council for the role of Maintenance Operative Technical (Electrician).
The role involves working in domestic, industrial, and commercial buildings, carrying out a range of trade activities, including CCTV, intruder alarms, fire alarms, emergency lighting systems, and electrical installations.
Working alongside colleagues within the Repairs and Maintenance section, you will ensure that work is delivered to a high standard, meeting our quality and performance expectations.
Our focus is on improving, developing, and growing the department to provide a sustainable service to all customers. This role plays a key part in driving this ambition forward.
To succeed, applicants must have relevant trade qualifications, with Electrical Inspection and Testing being an advantage.
Experience in a busy operational repairs and maintenance department is also desirable.
A full driving license is required, and a works vehicle will be allocated upon appointment.
