As a Paint Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and controlling all resources allocated to the project to maintain a productive working environment in direct support of the clients contracts in the Marine operation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Check all operatives are wearing the correct PPE for allocated tasks and that they are “fit for purpose”
2. Lead and control skilled labour and work crews engaged in all activities concerned with the blasting, painting and coating work aspects of the project
3. Be accountable for the optimisation of all resources to ensure the efficient and timely completion of all work packages
4. Supervise and coordinate activities of work crews engaged in the mechanical or aqueous surface preparation of substrates for coating, including sand-blasting, bead-blasting, water jetting and other methods
5. Be accountable for supervising and coordinating activities of work crews engaged in applying protective coats of paint to exterior or interior surfaces relative to the project work packages
