Here is what we have available Kitchen Preparer (REDCAR - TS10 3AF) Main Purpose of Job: To ensure that all food preparation for this very busy two storey Restaurant is conducted to a very high standard at the start of each shift, and to then continue this level of service throughout each shift. Your main duties are to prepare the food items and cooking, and cleaning duties throughout the day and to help manage the kitchen. For this role you will work strongly alongside the Fryer who predominantly cooks all of the food items, however your role once in service is to present and manage the food items continuously throughout each shift. You will need to ensure that all food orders are delivered in a timely manner as per each table/ booking and communicate effectively with the Restaurant Supervisor. You will need to have the ability to manage a small team and to work alongside the Restaurant Supervisor in ensuring the service for the shift works efficiently and effectively. At present we are open Friday to Sundays 11am-5pm with the aim to progress to opening back up Wednesdays to Sundays once we have the right individual. You would be expected to work 3-4 shifts overall, but initially this would be 3 shifts working Friday, Saturday & Sunday. A standard shift would be to start between 9.30/10am until 6/6.30pm with a break in between. Hours would be between 21-25 hrs per week and you must be available to work every weekend (alternative days for weekend coverage will change once we are back open Wednesday to Sundays) and hours would increase by one day once we are back open 5 days per week - so 3-4 shifts per week.
