Job responsibilities
We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant passionate about making a difference. You will work part-time, 24 hours weekly (3 shifts per week, including alternate weekends) at Hope House, supporting the maintenance of a safe and hygienic environment for our residents.
Hope House is a residential service providing outcome-focused care for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs, who may exhibit challenging behaviors.
We encourage and enable individuals to lead full, happy lives, promoting choice and control. We tailor support to each person's strengths, abilities, and preferences to ensure person-centered and meaningful care.
The service comprises two neighboring properties: Hope House (no. 59) and Hope Lodge (no. 57). The facilities include bespoke self-contained apartments, studio flats, en-suite bedrooms, and a spacious garden where residents can grow plants and vegetables.
* Ensure the site maintains a high level of cleanliness
* Carry out daily and weekly cleaning routines
* Maintain and replenish stock; ensure equipment is clean and well-maintained
* Follow safe working practices and adhere to health and safety procedures
* Comply with COSHH regulations
