Your new role
1. Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts
2. Carry out balance sheet reconciliations
3. Work across multiple accounting platforms (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, Netsuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics)
4. Support clients with software questions and best practice
5. Provide insight that helps clients make confidentmercial decisions
It’s a brilliant role for an experienced accountant or bookkeeper (AAT/ACCA/ACA qualified or qualified by experience) who enjoys variety, autonomy, and being the steady pair of hands clients rely on.The firm also offers ongoing training across VAT, software, and management accounting — plus a clear pathway to more senior opportunities as the practice continues to grow.
What you'll need to succeed
6. AAT‑qualified, ACCA/ACA, or qualified by experience
7. Strong double‑entry bookkeeping knowledge
8. Experience preparing VAT returns
9. Confidence using Xero and Sage (and ideally other cloud/desktop platforms)
10. A calm, proactive approach with excellentmunication skills
11. Desirable but not essential:
12. Experience with software integrations or migrations
13. Exposure to emerce / marketplaces
14. Ability to advise on system improvements and efficiencies
