The role
– Senior Quality Assurance Technician
This is a pro-active quality role, reporting to management on day-to-day Quality issues from production.
Duties will include:
1. Investigating and responding to any customer complaints
2. Raising and investigating internal non-conformances
3. Interdepartmental meetings/communication to ensure continuous improvement and effective process control
4. Monthly Quality report
5. Overseeing the day to day activity of staff / direct reports.
6. Participating in and preparing for all external audits
7. Assisting with internal audit programme
8. Hygiene inspections
9. Overseeing the day to day activity of the department
Experience, competencies and knowledge required:
10. Previous experience in a Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or similar role
11. Understanding of quality systems and standards
12. Strong attention to detail
13. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
14. Good communication and interpersonal skills
