As an Wholesale Lending Services Associate in Wholesale Lending Services, you will play a vital role in supporting the full lifecycle of loan transactions, servicing, and origination activities. Job responsibilities
1. Support the execution, servicing, and origination of syndicated and bilateral loan transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery across the loan lifecycle.
2. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, legal, credit, operations and trading teams, to resolve inquiries and facilitate seamless transaction processing.
3. Review and interpret loan documentation, applying attention to detail and analytical skills to ensure operational feasibility and risk mitigation.
4. Participate in team projects and initiatives focused on process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
5. Maintain a strong controls environment, adhering to established procedures and policies, and escalating issues as appropriate.
6. Contribute to a culture of excellent client service, supporting programs to enhance processes, reduce risk, and increase scalability.
7. Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team, supporting the development and engagement of colleagues.
8. Review Loan Market Association (LMA) standard documents and other legal documents including trade confirms, assignment agreements, and related agreements.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
9. Experience in financial services, banking operations, or lending services, with a developing understanding of loan products and transaction management.
10. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex documentation and manage multiple tasks effectively.
11. Eagerness to learn and develop, with a focus on building foundational skills.
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate across teams.
13. Proficiency in time management, organisation, and prioritisation, working well under pressure and to tight deadlines.

15. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new systems and technologies.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
16. Experience in syndicated lending, loan servicing, or transaction execution within a financial institution.
17. Familiarity with trade settlement processes, regulatory requirements, and operational risk management.
18. Experience with LMA standard documentation and knowledge of the LMA Standard Terms and Conditions.
19. Strong data and technology literacy, with the ability to analyse data and implement innovative solutions.
20. Interest in participating in process automation, continuous improvement, and change management initiatives.
21. Willingness to learn from and be coached by more senior team members.
22. Developing proficiency in leveraging technology, including AI/ML, to create innovative lending, and trading solutions.
23. Experience in preparing quantitative reports and supporting strategic planning efforts.
