We are looking for enthusiastic, flexible and committed people to work in our hospital to support the smooth running of our wards and therapy service. We have an excellent team of workers at Lings Bar that work to support the rehabilitation and reablement of our patients with the goal to return home and live independently or successfully transfer to a care provider of their choice. We are looking to put together a team that will support all our 3 wards and our therapy team and one of our posts will be set on 1 ward as permanent for that ward.
A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.
To be part of a support team that will support nursing and therapy care across the hospital
Working shift's that consist of 3 types of shift's - 7am - 3pm, 3pm - 11pm & 11pm - 7am 7 Days a week. Shift's will be set over a 3 month period so that the worker will be able to plan, other shift's are available and additional posts that are set on each ward.
Assisting nursing and Health care teams with general nursing care
Assisting therapy team with planned activity groups, rehabilitation goal for the patients
Being flexible in the way you work in order to support each team when absences happen due to training or sickness
Completing a full Trust induction and then site induction over the first month of employment and then keeping up to date will all required training.
