Youwillactasaseniortechnicalauthority,leadingstructuraldesigndelivery,mentoringengineers,andsupportingprojectsfromconceptthroughtodetaileddesignandconstruction.

KeyResponsibilities
* Leadandoverseetheproductionofstructuraldesigndeliverablestoensurecompliancewithsafety,quality,andregulatoryrequirements
* Approvedesigndeliverablesincludingcalculations,drawings,designriskassessments,reports,andspecifications
* Identifyefficientandappropriatestructuraldesignsolutionsthroughscopereviewandsitevisits,andcommunicatethesetoclientsandprojectteams
* Direct,mentor,anddevelopengineers,CADtechnicians,andgraduates
* Ensuredesignscomplywithrelevanttechnical,professional,andindustrystandards,includingwatercompanyandotherregulated-sectorrequirements
* Manageandrecorddesignchangesinlinewithformalprocessesandprocedures
* Ensureallworkisundertakeninaccordancewithestablishedqualitymanagementsystems
* Estimatedesignhoursandsupportresourceplanningactivities
* AttendandpresentdesignsatALM,KM,andothertechnicalreviewmeetings
* Review,interpret,andcommunicateupdatestostandardsandprocedures
* ActasProfessionalHeadforthestructuraldisciplineandundertaketheroleofResponsibleEngineer/CREonspecificprojects
* Providehigh-leveltechnicalinputintoprojectsandtendersanddrivecontinuousimprovementofstructuraldesignstandards
RequiredQualifications&Experience
* Minimum10yearsstructuraldesignexperienceatSeniororPrincipallevel
* Significantexperiencedeliveringstructuraldesignswithinoneormoreregulatedindustries,including:
* Water
* Rail
* Oil&Gas
* Nuclear
* Highways
* Bridges
* DegreeorHNDinStructuralorCivilEngineering(orequivalentexperience)
* StrongITskillsandexperiencewithindustry-standardstructuralanalysisanddesigntools
* CharteredEngineerstatus
