Your new role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality cost consultancy services on major capital projects, many exceeding £200m in value. Based in Belfast, you will work across the full project lifecycle, from early‑stage planning and cost advice through to post‑contract delivery and projectpletion.You will provide expert advice on capital and whole‑life costs, leadmercial delivery, and support sustainable, low‑carbon oues. The role offers close collaboration with senior leadership, multidisciplinary teams, and public and private sector clients.
What you'll need to succeed
1. A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
2. MRICS or working towards chartership
3. Proven experience across pre‑ and post‑contract cost management
4. Strongmercial awareness with the ability to manage cost planning, forecasting, risk, and change control
5. Sound knowledge of NEC, JCT, and Design & Build contracts
6. Experience delivering projects within Education or Healthcare sectors (beneficial, not essential)
7. Excellentmunication skills and the ability to build trusted client relationships
8. Strong analytical, negotiation, and IT skills
9. Experience supporting or mentoring junior team members
