Special Needs Teaching Assistant • Full-time & part-time roles • EYFS & Primary schools • London • £89–£105 per day We are recruiting Special Needs Teaching Assistants to support children and young people with SEND on a full-time or part-time basis across EYFS and Primary schools. You will work with students with a range of needs, including Autism, PMLD and SEMH (Behavioural Needs). Autism Support students with varied cognitive abilities across learning and development activities. You’ll need to be adaptable, confident, and able to build strong relationships, establish routines and communicate clearly. PMLD (Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties) This role involves personal care (feeding, physical support) alongside developmental activities. Students are often non-verbal with complex needs. Ideal for candidates with care experience, with excellent opportunities to develop specialist skills. SEMH (Behavioural Needs) Support students with social, emotional and mental health needs by helping them develop academic skills, emotional regulation and self-esteem. Training is provided to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour. No prior SEN experience is essential — many TAs learn on the job with training and support from schools. Hours: Full-time or part-time (8:30am–4:00pm, Mon–Fri).
