We are looking to recruit a Support Officer to join the Early Years Entitlements (EYE) team, to support childcare providers in delivering early years entitlements and assist families across Lincolnshire to maximise their entitlements. This role offers variety, challenges, and the chance to drive positive change for young children across Lincolnshire.
Due to recent changes in UK immigration law, we are unable to offer skilled worker visa sponsorship for this role as it does not meet the requirements of RQF Level 6.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, enjoy working with data, and be able to complete funding claims accurately and on time each month. We seek a self-motivated team player who is passionate about early years education.
Main responsibilities include:
1. Processing claims and uploading data into systems for payment of EYE using bespoke claims management software.
2. Supporting parents, providers, and professionals with queries to ensure families understand and can access government support for childcare costs.
3. Maintaining accurate information on childcare provision across the county for auditing purposes, running queries, and verifying data.
4. Conducting virtual and face-to-face audits to ensure compliance with EYE funding requirements, as directed by the Lead Consultant (EYE).
5. Supporting general administrative duties such as report writing, data reporting, and handling queries from parents and providers.
This is an administrative role requiring attention to detail and a flexible approach to adapt daily. Building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders is essential, along with strong communication skills to provide careful and considered responses.
A good working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel will be beneficial.
The post holder must have a driving license and access to a car, with the ability to travel across the county as needed to meet service demands.
