As an assistant in the Inspection Department, you will take a customer service approach with a view that the service you provide are there to support the management of your workspace and whole facility. Your duties will be varied and will include activities that support the inspection department and personnel, such as cleaning and grinding/dressing of tubulars as well as offering assistance and support to the team with career progression.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Operate designated machines safely and competently, ensuring that all HSE and housekeeping standards are maintained.
* Carry out designated tasks as instructed.
* Minimize waste by using/disposing of raw materials and consumable items efficiently.
* Assist in keeping the facility in a clean and safe state at all times.
* Assist Inspection personnel as and when required.
* Assist other departments as and when required.
* Demonstrate awareness of company objectives, policies and procedures without exception.
* Ensure all company policies surrounding, health and safety, quality requirements and housekeeping are met.
* Adheres to inspection criteria, policies and procedures without exception.
* Carry out all duties safely in accordance with the Health and Safety Policy, Employee Handbook, procedures, training and instruction.
* To be safety conscious and report any safety hazards to the HSE representative.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Good standard of high school education or equivalent (essential).
EXPERIENCE:
* Experience with operating abrasive hand tools (essential).
* Experience in Oil Industry environment (desirable).
SKILLS, TRAINING & SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE:
* Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook) (essential).
