About the role
We are currently looking for a Drygoods Forklift Operator to join the team at our Ashburton site.
You will be working on a shift roster pattern 4 ON 4 OFF, 12-hour shifts and will be working on night shift. A night shift allowance of $22.50 per shift will be paid for any nights worked.
Based on your experience and qualification. The pay rate will range between $24.65 - $26.20 per hour.
As a Drygoods Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for:
4. Handling goods in a warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispatching correctly and accurately
5. Also operating machinery, managing inventory
6. Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
7. Capturing relevant data in data processing systems
8. Computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, MS Teams
For this role, you’ll need:
9. F- Endorsement or Osh Licence and be a competent forklift driver. For the right candidate training can be provided.
10. Previous experience and exposure to a similar inventory-controlled environment is preferred.
11. Highly organised, Strong attention to detail.
12. Resilient, pragmatic, and proactive.
13. Ability to self-manage and use initiative.
