Position: Electrical Project Engineer

About the Role:
As an Electrical Project Engineer, you'll manage and coordinate all electrical construction activities to ensure successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. You'll work closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to achieve exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
·Lead site teams and subcontractors to prioritise and maintain outstanding safety performance.
·Assemble and manage a skilled team, fostering development and performance.
·Oversee design, procurement, and installation phases to ensure seamless execution.
·Chair and document key meetings, including progress, safety, and design reviews.
·Collaborate with the commercial team to select and procure subcontractor packages.
·Resolve project challenges efficiently while maintaining client and stakeholder satisfaction.
·Prepare risk assessments, method statements, and safety documentation.
Skills and Qualifications:
·Strong knowledge of IEE or BS 7671: Requirements for Electrical Installations.
·Relevant CSCS card and SMSTS qualification.
·NVQ Level 3 or higher (preferably in Site Supervision, ONC, or HNC).
·Experience working on clean and wastewater operations/construction projects.
·Familiarity with managing NEC contracts and CDM regulations.
·Proficiency in IT tools, including document management systems like SharePoint.
·First Aid certification is desirable.
Experience:
·Managing multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors on construction sites.
·Reading and updating construction programmes for planners and clients.
·Writing RAMS and preparing detailed project documentation.
