About the role
As the Regulation and Business Performance Director and OCR's Responsible Officer, you will oversee business assurance, strategic planning, and change initiatives to ensure Cambridge UK Education meets its goals. You will engage internal and external stakeholders to provide assurance and confidence in OCR's assessment delivery processes, improving the quality of Cambridge UK Education's delivery and ensuring OCR meets the high standards expected by learners, parents, teachers, government officials and qualifications regulators.
Ensuring compliance with strict internal and external assurance processes, including meeting the qualifications regulators' requirements, you will help maintain public trust in OCR qualifications and assessments. Reporting to the Cambridge UK Education Group Managing Director, you will lead the organisation's strategy for quality, regulatory compliance, risk, customer compliance, change, policy and stakeholder engagement.
You will lead innovative thinking and methods for internal and external assurance and communicate strategically with key external stakeholders. You will manage business-related risks and improve visibility, understanding, and mitigation of risks across Cambridge UK Education. In addition, taking the lead in business continuity planning, crisis management efforts, and overseeing changes from various programmes and projects, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of assurance, quality, risk, regulation, and change management.
