Role Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Part‑Time Clerical Officer to join our team at Dedridge Medical Group. We are a 6‑Partner training practice with a list size of around 11,000 patients and are supported by an excellent team of salaried GPs, ANPs, admin, nursing and other clinical support staff. This post is 22.5 hours per week, Wednesday to Friday from 9.30am to 6pm. The salary is in the range of £23,873‑£26,838 (pro‑rate) depending on age and experience.
Responsibilities
* Provide administration support within the main reception area.
* Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and a polite telephone manner.
* Prioritise and work effectively as part of a team.
* Exercise initiative and handle reception duties independently.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience of working in a GP practice is preferable but not essential.
* Qualifications equivalent to 3 standard grades including English and Arithmetic.
* Proficient in the use of IT.
* Strong organisational and administrative skills.
