The work will involve supporting the class as well as helping individual children during unstructured times at lunch and playtimes. You must be patient and highly organised, working under the supervision of the class teacher, assisting with creating a positive learning environment and purposeful continuous provision. Working within a team, you should be a good communicator, able to be flexible to work across the school at times and be sensitive in responding to the needs of the children. An interest in professional development is important. Experience in this kind of work would be an advantage. We are a nurturing school and use Zones of Regulation.
