Overview
On the lookout for a new part-time role with unique satisfaction? Our team in Stonehaven is seeking three caring, reliable and dedicated female colleagues on a permanent basis (16, 20 or 25 hours per week).
Responsibilities
* Provide support to four individuals with learning disabilities.
* Assist with all aspects of daily living, including cooking, cleaning, finances and medication.
* Be enthusiastic and creative in supporting hobbies and interests (gardening, cooking, baking, arts & crafts, gym, events, walks, and community activities).
* Contribute to a warm, friendly team environment and help individuals lead meaningful lives.
About You
* We value who you are and what you bring to the team; experience and qualifications are not mandatory.
* Willing to participate in training; practical skills and SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees may be funded.
* Good listening and communication skills; caring attitude; positive approach to learning.
* Understanding of routines and guidelines; ability to cook (baking is a bonus).
* Full manual driving license is preferred but not essential for the right candidates.
Shift Patterns
Shifts are varied and tailored to the needs of each individual. They include early mornings, days and evenings, with weekends and sleepovers on a rotational basis. Sleepover shifts are paid an additional £100.80 each.
Because of service location and limited public transport links, you should be able to travel to shifts or have access to a vehicle.

Application and Compliance
We are looking to fill vacancies as soon as possible and may close the advert early if suitable candidates are found. Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and work toward an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with support from our Training Academy.
Pre-employment checks may include a criminal record certificate if you have spent time outside the UK within the last 10 years. You will be asked to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting employment with us.
